| One: | ||
| Scan your photo. To do the best job on your photo, we need to start with a
high-resolution scan. Your scanning software will have controls for
setting resolution and other options. This depends on the make and
model of the scanner, so we can't give specific instructions. The important thing is to end up with a file in a lossless format, of just under 8 megabytes. This is the largest file you can currently upload. See our Scanning Guidelines here. |

| Two: | ||
| When you have made the file, you need to go to our Upload Page and send it to us. |

| Three: | ||
| Once we retrieve your file and briefly review it,
we'll send you an email. If there is some problem (for example, the
scan is unsatisfactory or the file got messed up in transmission),
we'll tell you so you can try again. If all is well, and we can restore your photo, we'll let you know, and request payment. Upon receipt, we can start work on your photo. |
