$30 gets you at least one full hour's worth of our services. To give you an idea of what that means, here's a restoration we did in just over 80 minutes:

This job would have cost the client $80.00, and, we believe, very reasonable at the price. During this offer, you can get the same level of care and workmanship for only $30.00. Projects requiring substantially more time or involving multiple photos will, of course, cost extra.

While this offer is intended to introduce you to our services, you can order as many restorations as you wish at this price, which is approximately 50% of our post-launch rate.

(If you are ordering a number of restorations, turnaround time may be affected. Please inquire first.)

We prefer to work directly from your original, which lets us employ a wider range of scanning techniques (see note). But if you'd rather not send an irreplaceable photo, you can scan it and submit it electronically.

Instead of a hardcopy photographic print, you'll receive a JPEG format computer file, either via the Internet, or, for an additional $2.50, on a CD-ROM.

With this file, you'll be able to order whatever size and type of print you wish - even specialty items like t-shirts, coffee mugs, bookmarks, calendars, greeting cards, etc. - either by mail order or locally. Walgreen's, CVS and others even allow you to upload, order on line, and pick up the finished prints at your local store.

We expect to be offering a range of specialty items at a future date.

Our full Standard service will include the CD-ROM and two 4" by 6" prints from a professional photo lab, as well as any additional lab prints or enlargements at cost plus a modest service fee and postage. Prints and enlargements will be available in all the sizes and types our professional lab supplies.

We'll also be offering a Deluxe service, which will include proof copies and consultation via email. Special work (other than straight restoration) will come under the Deluxe service. Details to follow.

So Why Not Create a Family Heirloom?

... or several? It's easy! Just send us your cherished photos and we'll restore them. From there, you have a wide range of options: a beautifully framed enlargement, for example. Or a photo gift carrying the likeness of a dear friend or relative. We especially like to help you preserve your ancestors, since that's how we got into this field in the first place!

Or have prints made and use your crafting or scrapbooking skills to create a truly personalized and unique gift or keepsake.

NOTE:

Some older prints present special problems. If your photo is printed on textured paper, or shows signs of silvering (the appearance of tiny metallic silver granules on the surface of the print), you may be unable to make a satisfactory scan.

We have special methods for dealing with these problems, but since they involve a lot more time (and therefore expense) than basic scanning, they will only be available with our standard and deluxe services.

You'll always have the option of sending your own scan, as long as we can work from it.
